    To book with me, please fill out a form on the website tab titled “booking”. This will provide me with all the information I need as long as it is filled out correctly. Please read through the form carefully.

    Once I get your form, I will respond via email as soon as I can with appointment availability that works best for your schedule. During busy periods of my schedule, please allow up to two weeks for first response. I love my job, but it can be time and energy consuming.

    Then, when we agree on a date that works for both of us, I will send deposit information and important information that pertains to the shop. Your deposit is required in order to make an appointment. Your deposit guarantees your spot in my calendar and tells me to show up for work that day.

    Once I receive your deposit and you’re in my calendar, you just wait until its time for your appointment!

    When you arrive, you will be asked to fill out a consent form and provide a legal ID that is not expired. This can be a license or passport or any legal form of government ID. Then, the first part of the appointment for custom tattoos is for reviewing the design and making any necessary adjustments. I do not send designs ahead of time, please review the FAQs for more details as to why.

    After we agree on a design that works, then the tattoo is printed, stenciled, and applied to you! Then we tattoo you!

    Your appointment includes time for breaks, stretching, snacking, and chilling! We are a state of the art studio that prides itself on providing the comfort and accomodation to clients including complimentary snacks and drinks, blankets, and aftercare products.

  • As of May 2026 I will be located at Sleepwalker Tattoo in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

  • I specialize in black and gray illustrative tattooing with a focus on high contrast textural elements.

    Some of my other favorite styles to tattoo include fine line illustrative, woodcut, microrealism, and western traditional.

  • No. I do not send out custom designs before your appointment time and I will not draw them in a consultation beforehand.

    I do this for a few reasons:

    1) My illustrative work is my intellectual property and I do not want the client to take my design and get it tattooed by someone else “for cheaper”

    2) I want my client’s true reaction to the design. Often when designs get sent ahead of time, the client wants to show it to their friends and family, and the client’s judgement can be clouded by the opinions of the people around them. It's your body, only you should be making decisions about what goes on it.

    3) I take a high volume of custom clientele and have a specific process to how I schedule them & when I draw for those appointments. If I had to draw for people who either didn’t book with me yet or have an appointment days or weeks in the future, I would be doing an excessive amount of free labor and wouldn’t have time to do anything except draw. I do not draw for anyone who has not sent a deposit and I do not send work out before your appointment.

    As long as you send a detailed description of what you want, and reference images that help me understand what you’re looking for in a tattoo, you will be fine. I’ve been tattooing full time for the last 5 years and part of my expertise is reading your description and interpreting it to the best of my ability to not just bring your idea to life, but to guarantee the best tattoo possible. There is more than enough time built into all my appointments to make any necessary changes or adjustments.

  • A lot of the work i do is whimsical, absurd, or surrealist. I also do organic subject matter tattoos such as animals and plants. Most subject matter is considered equally.

    I do not tattoo subject matter that is racist, homophobic, transphobic, nativist, patriotic, or hateful. I do not copy or reference AI generated imagery either.

  • 1-2 weeks before your appointment, moisturize the area getting tattooed regularly with lotion. 

    The night before your tattoo, be sure to get a good night’s sleep and hydrate. 

    Take a shower the same day of your appointment and eat a good meal within 2 hours of your appointment start time, wear comfortable clothing that allows me to access the area getting tattooed, and feel free to bring snacks and a sugary drink to help maintain your blood sugar during the tattoo.

  • Ideally, I work either Tuesday-Saturday or Monday & then Wednesday-Saturday. I nearly always take Sundays off. I can make an exception if its something I really want to do!

    I also typically start my early appointments around 11am or 12pm and my afternoon appointments at 3pm or 4pm. If you need an evening appointment after 5pm it will be either on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

  • A consultation is a free half-hour meeting I can set up with a client in order to discuss their tattoo idea in depth, get photos of the area we will be working on, and/or trace the area we will be working on. I often require consultations for reworks, cover ups, and large scale MULTI-SESSION projects. These consultations are completely free of cost and do not include any design work. Consultations are not a way to have me do your design ahead of time.

  • YES ABSOLUTELY

    my hourly rate and flat rate pricing is a rule of thumb I use in order to allow my income to be predictable and consistent, as well as for the client to know how much to budget for the tattoo they’re getting.

    There are always things we can do and/or adjust in order to accommodate a budget, whether its shorter sessions, spreading out sessions over time, a simpler design, or choosing flash over a custom tattoo, there are always things we can do to make getting a tattoo work for you!
